Privacy Policy
LeadQube is a Chrome extension for managing sales leads, with an optional Premium plan that adds LeadQube Web. Where your leads are kept depends on how you use it:
- The extension on its own (free, and Premium with a Google Sheet until you choose LeadQube Web): your data stays with you — in your browser, and, if you choose to connect one, in a Google Sheet in your own Google account. Your leads, contacts and spreadsheet data never reach the developer's servers. The account server receives only who you are, your Google account, so that a Premium plan can follow you.
- LeadQube Web (Premium): when you open LeadQube Web, or the extension syncs with it, your leads, contacts, pipelines and settings are stored on LeadQube's server, so that you can use them in any browser and share them with your team. With Premium and no Google Sheet connected, the extension starts syncing with LeadQube Web by itself after it confirms your plan, and tells you; with a Sheet connected, it asks first. See “LeadQube Web (Premium)” below for exactly what is stored, who can see it and how long it is kept.
In both cases your data is not sold, shared with advertisers or used for advertising.
What LeadQube stores, and where
| Data | Where it comes from | Where it is kept |
|---|---|---|
| Leads, contacts, pipeline stages, custom fields, notes, follow-up reminders and the activity timeline | Entered by you, imported by you from a capture, or added as sample leads when you choose to explore with them | In your browser. If you connect a spreadsheet, also in that spreadsheet in your Google Drive |
| Businesses captured from Google Maps: name, phone, address, website, category, rating, map link | Read from the Google Maps page you are viewing, only when you press a LeadQube capture button | In your browser, in a review list, until you import or discard them |
| People and companies captured from LinkedIn: name, headline, job title, company, location, profile link — and, only if you opened “Contact info” yourself, email, phone and website | Read from the LinkedIn page you are viewing, only when you press a LeadQube capture button | As above |
| Email thread references from Gmail: subject, thread identifiers, link, participants' names and email addresses, date of the latest message | Read from the Gmail thread you have open, to show matching leads; saved only when you link a thread or create a lead | With the lead, as above. Email bodies are never read or stored. |
| Your Google account email, name and profile picture | Google sign-in, when you connect a spreadsheet or sign in for your plan | In your browser, to show which account is connected. Your Google account ID and email also go to LeadQube's account server, as described below |
| Preferences: theme, board layout, saved views, email templates, stale-lead threshold | Your choices | In your browser and your Chrome profile's sync storage. With LeadQube Web, saved views, templates and settings are also kept with your LeadQube account |
| Everything in the rows above, except your Google profile picture and theme (LeadQube Web, Premium) | As above, once you use LeadQube Web | On LeadQube's server, in your workspace, and a working copy in each browser you use it in — see “LeadQube Web (Premium)” |
LeadQube Web (Premium)
LeadQube Web is part of Premium. It keeps your CRM on LeadQube's server instead of a Google Sheet. Your leads reach the server when you use LeadQube Web, when you press “Move my leads to LeadQube Web” in the extension's Settings, when the extension starts syncing by itself (Premium, signed in, no Google Sheet connected; it shows a notification when it does), or when you import a backup file from the extension in LeadQube Web's Settings. To stop, choose “Move back to this browser” in the extension's Settings: the extension then keeps your leads only in your browser, and does not start syncing again by itself.
- What is stored: your workspace's leads, contacts, pipelines (with their stages, custom fields and automations), notes, follow-up reminders, activity timelines and linked Gmail thread references (subject, identifiers, link, date — never email bodies); each member's captures waiting for review; and each member's saved views, email templates and settings.
- Who can see it: you and the people you invite to your workspace. Each member signs in with their own Google account. LeadQube staff access it only to keep the service running, to answer a request from you, or where the law requires it.
- Where: in a MySQL database on the web hosting service that serves ajtechsoft.in, reached only over HTTPS. Each browser that uses LeadQube Web (the web app, or the extension in LeadQube Web mode) also keeps a working copy, so it opens quickly and works offline. Signing out of LeadQube Web removes that browser's copy.
- One sign-in: when you open LeadQube Web in a browser where the extension isn't signed in (or right after you install it), the extension asks LeadQube's server whether you are signed in to LeadQube Web there, and if so uses that account. When the extension opens LeadQube Web for you, it uses a one-time link that signs that page in; it works once, for two minutes. Without either, a signed-out extension never contacts LeadQube's server.
- Email open tracking (Premium): when it is on (Settings → Preferences, and the Track button beside Send in Gmail), an email you send from Gmail gets a tiny invisible image from LeadQube's server. When the recipient's email app shows the email, it loads the image, and we record the time it was loaded: nothing else — no IP address, device, location or anything about the reader. We keep the email's subject, the recipients' addresses and the Gmail thread it belongs to, so you can see the opens on your lead. Your own views of the email are not counted. Tracking data is yours alone, is never shared, and is deleted after 180 days. Some email apps block images, so an email can be read without showing as opened. You are responsible for telling the people you email that you track opens where the law requires it.
- Booking page (Premium): when you publish a booking page, LeadQube's server reads when the events in your Google Calendar take place, to offer the times you are free; visitors never see your events. Someone booking a call gives their name and email (and the phone number and message you ask for); LeadQube adds the meeting to your Google Calendar with a Google Meet link, which makes Google send them an invitation, and keeps the booking in your Captures and our database for a year. You are responsible for telling the people who book how you use what they send.
- Lead forms: a form you publish with LeadQube Web collects what its visitors type in (name, and the email, phone, company and message you ask for), plus the page it was sent from. It is stored in your workspace for you, as your captures are, and emailed to you if you choose. The form sets no cookies and runs no tracking. You are responsible for telling your visitors how you use what they send.
- Reminder emails: when a follow-up comes due, LeadQube emails the lead's owner (or the member who created it) the lead's title, contact name and the reminder's message.
- Google Calendar and Tasks in LeadQube Web: if you press “Connect Google” in LeadQube Web's Settings, Google gives LeadQube's server a token for your
primary calendar's events and your default task list (
calendar.events,tasks). It is stored encrypted and used only to create, move or cancel a Google Meet meeting for a lead and to mirror your follow-ups as tasks, when you ask for it. “Disconnect Google” deletes it and revokes it with Google. - How long it is kept: for as long as someone in the workspace has Premium. When nobody does, the workspace becomes read-only and its owner is emailed 30 and 7 days before its leads, contacts and pipelines are deleted, 90 days after the last day a member had Premium. Records you delete are removed from the database within 90 days (devices that were offline use that time to learn about the deletion). Database backups are overwritten within 30 days.
- Taking it with you: LeadQube Web's Settings → Download everything gives you all of your workspace's data as a file at any time, even after Premium ends. The extension's “Move back to this browser”, or its Restore a backup with that file, copies it back into your browser, ready for your own Google Sheet.
- Deleting it: the workspace owner can delete the whole workspace at once in LeadQube Web's Settings. It is gone from the database immediately and from backups when they are overwritten.
Your LeadQube account and Premium
LeadQube is free without an account. Premium is tied to a LeadQube account that you create on the LeadQube portal with Sign in with Google.
- On the portal, we store your Google account ID, email address, name and profile picture, when you created the account and last signed in, and your plan.
- From the extension, when a Google account is connected, LeadQube checks in with the account server when Chrome starts, about every 6 hours, and when you press “Check again”. It sends your Google account ID and email (taken from a Google sign-in token) and the extension version. We record when you were first and last seen and the sign-in history. This happens whether or not you have created a portal account, so we can tell you whether one exists.
- The check-in never includes your leads, contacts, pipelines, notes, captures, Gmail content or anything in your spreadsheet. (Those reach the server only through LeadQube Web, described above.)
- We use this only to run your account and plan and to count how many people use LeadQube. We do not sell it, share it or use it for advertising.
- To delete your account and check-in history, contact us. Signing out of Google in LeadQube's Settings stops the check-ins.
Payments
Premium is paid for on the LeadQube portal through Razorpay (Razorpay Software Private Limited), a payment gateway regulated in India.
- Your card number, UPI ID, bank login and wallet details are entered in Razorpay's checkout and go to Razorpay and your bank. They never reach us, and we never store them. Razorpay handles them under its own privacy policy.
- From Razorpay we receive and keep, for each payment: our order ID, Razorpay's order and payment IDs, the amount and currency, the payment method type (for example “upi” or “card”), its status, any failure or refund details, and the email and phone number you entered in checkout.
- We use this to switch on Premium, send your receipt, answer questions about payments, issue refunds, and meet tax and accounting rules. We do not use it for marketing.
- Payment records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires, even if you delete your LeadQube account.
Google services used, and why
LeadQube asks for these Google permissions only when you connect a spreadsheet or use a feature that needs them:
- Google Sheets (
spreadsheets) — to keep your leads, contacts and pipelines in a spreadsheet you choose, so you can share them with your team. - Google Calendar (
calendar.events) — to create, move or cancel a Google Meet meeting for a lead, only when you ask it to. - Google Tasks (
tasks) — to mirror your follow-up reminders as tasks, and mark them done when you do. - Your email address and basic profile (
userinfo.email,userinfo.profile) — to show which Google account is connected, and to tell LeadQube's account server which account's plan to apply.
In LeadQube Web, Calendar and Tasks work through the server-side Google connection described under “LeadQube Web (Premium)”; Sheets is not used there.
LeadQube does not request access to your Gmail messages through Google's Gmail API. On Gmail, it reads only what is displayed on the open thread, as described above.
LeadQube's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
What LeadQube does not do
- Without LeadQube Web, it does not send your leads, contacts or spreadsheet data to the developer or to any third party; only your account identity, and payment records if you buy Premium, reach the account server. With LeadQube Web, your workspace's data is stored on LeadQube's server as described above, and is not passed to third parties other than the hosting and email services that run it.
- It does not sell data, use it for advertising, or use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending.
- It does not track your browsing. It runs only on Google Maps, Gmail and LinkedIn pages, and reads those pages only as described above.
- It does not read LinkedIn pages in the background, scroll them, or open profiles on your behalf; every capture is started by you.
Your responsibilities for the people you capture
Leads and contacts often include personal data about other people. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to keep and use that data (for example under the GDPR, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act or similar laws), and for respecting the terms of the sites you capture from, including LinkedIn's User Agreement. With LeadQube Web, LeadQube stores that data on your behalf and only on your instructions: you (your business) decide what is kept and remain responsible for it, and LeadQube processes it for you to provide the service. If someone asks you to delete their data, delete their lead and contact in LeadQube; it leaves the server as described above.
Keeping, exporting and deleting your data
- Your spreadsheet is yours: view, export or delete it in Google Sheets at any time.
- Delete individual leads, contacts or captures inside LeadQube, and remove the sample leads from Settings.
- Disconnect the spreadsheet in LeadQube's Settings, and revoke LeadQube's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Removing the extension deletes everything it stored in your browser. Data in your spreadsheet stays until you delete it.
- LeadQube Web: download everything from its Settings at any time; the workspace owner can delete the workspace there; to delete your LeadQube account and everything tied to it, contact us.
Children
LeadQube is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13.
